More wind - at a price

Moto Guzzi make much of their wind tunnel in publicity shots – this is the V9 in centenario livery, echoing the1950s racing colours. Nice enough if the bobber style is your thing, but it’s 10 grand, and perhaps unsurprisingly isn’t listed (as far as I can see) by any UK dealer. If the bobber style really is your thing a Harley Sportster 883 is a grand less – no wonder you see so many about. And if you want a smart retro the Royal Enfield Interceptor – the fifth best selling motorcycle in the UK amidst a sea of 125s – can be had for brand new for under £6000. I love Moto Guzzi but they’re pricing looks bonkers with even the cheapest V7 £2k more than the Enfield. Maybe brand ambassador Ewan McGregor buys them all
